Business Opportunity - Truck Dealing by FROG: 6:39pm On Oct 04, 2009
Hi,
I am very keen to find a business partner in Nigeria to work closely with me on importing trucks. I am located in the centre of the UK and really keen to start locating and shipping quality used trucks to Nigeria.

My main interest is trucks from 7.5 - 18 tonne rigid and cab + trailer 22 tyre combinations.

If anyone has any thoughts and advice or is keen to take this further please contact at chrisfrost@oink.co.uk

Cheers

Chris

Good day. Pls be more specific about the truck dealing. Are u importing here to sell or for someone to manage and pay u monthly rentals? If for sales then i may not be able to do anything with u cos i dont have that capacity. On the other hand, if they are or if some of them are for lease where i will pay u monthly rentals then we can do biz.
Also remember right hand drive vehicles are a no no here.

Thanks.

Hi edwin, I am based in the UK, I am looking for someone in Nigeria to work with me selling the trucks I intend shipping over. I don't have the financial backing to be able to lease the truck, unless I can find someone to help with this.

I understand the vehicles in Nigeria must be Left hand drive, but I believe the cost to convert them isn't that great?? (approx N100,000)

Thanks for your time

Chris

, add another 100k to that amount for the conversion to be on the safe side. Typically the conversion is 180k.

Thanks hauler, I was just going by a post I had seen before, I'm sure you are right, always best to overcompensate work like that!

Many thanks,

Chris

Thanks Spicyboy for your helpful advice. I guess I am just looking for someone who wants to buy trucks through an English agent!

I want to source them and sell them to someone in Nigeria, I think that is the easiest option!

Cheers, Chris
