My birthday… the kind of day that I want to celebrate to the fullest. I mean it’s not every day you turn a certain age. I was mad bored at my desk in the office and my colleagues did buy a cake for me. I blew out candles and all that jazz, they sang happy birthday, we ate and were merry but I was still bored. I needed to do something exciting but even my boyfriend and I had a fight the night before so all I got from him was a bloody text. I was pissed!

When I was done with work, my friend Lillian called me. I figured something surprising was gonna happen but I already knew that it won’t pass, going out to dinner and a bunch of people shouting surprise… I was soooo done but I’m a bloody good actress, I always have my surprise face on.

I picked up the phone and she told me to come meet her downstairs. I packed up, told my colleagues thanks and bye with a lot of hugs and kisses, then I went downstairs to meet her. She took me into her car and blindfolded me.
