Rejoinder to press release: British invasion - ‘The Bini rejected Obaseki’s advice’

Fellow Edo Indigenes,


These same Traitors will turn around and say that their forebears did the Benin people a favor and that their family has six chieftaincy titles bestowed upon them, to cap it up as a mark of their loyalty to the Oba. Let us analyze the hallmarks of their treacherous achievements so far.


It is a well know fact in history in 1897, that Agho Obaseki betrayed the Oba and Benin kingdom to the British, which they still deny instead of honorably accepting their guilt and openly plead for forgiveness. Since when did Benin Kingdom ever face military defeat in war? Since the days of Obaseki the Traitors of Benin!


It is a well known fact in history in 1914, that Agho Obaseki tried by
every means possible to usurp the “Stool” of the Oba of Benin from the crown prince with the aid of James Watt the colonial resident. Since when did a commoner start contending the Obaship with a royal son? Since the days of Obaseki the Traitors of Benin!


It is a well known fact in history in 1914, that Agho Obaseki was forced upon Oba Eweka to become the Iyase of Benin by the British colonial government. Since when did foreigners start imposing a chieftaincy title on the Oba of Benin? Since the days of Obaseki the Traitors of Benin!


It is a well known fact in history in 1948, that Gaius Obaseki the ninth son of Agho Obaseki born of the daughter of the Oba was also forced upon Oba Akenzua by the British to become the Iyase of Benin like his father Agho Obaseki. Since when did the chieftaincy title of Iyase (prime minister) of Benin became hereditary from father to son? Since the days of Obaseki the Traitors of Benin!


It is a well known fact in history in 1950, that Gaius Obaseki acting as the chairman of the the Benin native council and head of the ruling party “slashed” the salary of Oba Akenzua in a bid to demote the Oba for opposing him and his colonial government policies. Since when did a Benin citizen and subject of the Oba of Benin have and exercise the power to demote the Oba? Since the days of Obaseki the Traitors of Benin!


It is a well known fact in history in 1951 that Gaius Obaseki who was by virtue of his mother being the daughter of the Obas was the cousin of Oba Akenzua, and still had the guts to decree that the Oba had no right to confer chieftaincy on any one in Benin Kingdom except with the express permission of the British colonial government he was put in charge of. Ostensibly because Oba Akenzua refused to perform the traditional rites of the Iyase Title on him for obvious reasons. Since when did any one banned the Oba from giving out chieftaincy titles to his deserving subjects? Since the days of Obaseki the Traitors of Benin!


It is a well known fact in history in 1952 and beyond that Gaius Obaseki was assiduously working at the federal level to sabotage the Midwest Referendum for the creation of Mid West Region / State, because as usual, he was the only one the British colonialists saw and selected to represent Benin District at the national assembly. Since when did only one man become the honorable representative at the national assembly. executive governor of the state and prime minister of Benin kingdom? Since the days of Obaseki the Traitors of Benin!


It is a well known fact that in the post colonial Nigeria, that only Obaseki family has been appointed as a Justice of the Supreme Court (JSC), the chairman of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), the Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) and others, Since when did just one family have such monopoly of federal appointments in Benin Kingdom, which we believe is heavily influenced by the British in appreciation and recognition of the loyal and faithful service of their grand father, Agho Obaseki in his betrayal of the king and kingdom of Benin? Since the days of Obaseki the Traitors of Benin!


Now that they want to scheme their way into government house again, they turn around and openly claim like a stereotypical JUDAS ISCARIOT that they have always been loyal to the Oba of Benin and people of Benin. A LOYALTY UNTO DESTRUCTION!
God Forbid, especially as this same TRAITOR GRANDSON had the temerity and audacity to publicly say to the press inter alia that:


“Benin people suffered humiliation in the hands of British colonialists in 1897 because they failed to listen to the advice of his grandfather, Chief Agho Obaseki. That when the British entered Benin Kingdom and attempted to do ‘business’ with Benin people, his grandfather advised the then Oba of Benin, Oba Ovonramwen N’gbaisi, to sign a treaty with the foreigners but the Bini did not heed his advice, and the result was Britain’s invasion of Benin Kingdom and the looting of its treasure.”


He added that : “The Obaseki family is the largest in Benin Kingdom; even more Obasekis can join the race for the party’s ticket.”


Meaning that our Oba should have signed away his kingdom and people to a foreign Queen to become their colonial slaves as “Nigerians” eventual became a colonial slave enclave of British “Business Exploitations” that has caused Black Africans to continually remain in perpetual poverty and backwardness in comparison with the rest of the world because of the GENERATIONAL CURSE of slavery and colonization they suffered for centuries at the hands of the white man.


Now that you know what we know about the high treason against the Oba of Benin and people of Benin for three consecutive generations from father, to son and to grandson of this so-called “Obaseki-Oyoo” unrepentant traitor family, you can no longer feign ignorance of their treachery or plead clemency for their treason as excuse.


In Yoruba land, the Yoruba people would have long BANISHED such a family of traitors from their land; and in Igbo land such traitor family would be ostracized as OUTCASTS; let’s not mention what the Hausa people would have done to such an abominable family of traitors as that would rather be best imagined instead of mentioned here.


So let me unapologetically and succinctly say as a fundamental, fiery and fanatic Benin born, Benin bred, Benin man as a rejoinder / reply to this insensitive, inciting and hateful speech against the Oba of Benin and Indigenes of Benin by this enemy within and TROJAN HORSE called Godwin Obaseki; who also falsely claims that his so-called Obaseki Family is the largest family in Benin Kingdom (when it is evident to all that the Royal Family is indeed undisputedly the largest Family in Benin Kingdom), in his bid to secretly subvert with subterfuge the traditional authority and ruler-ship of the Royal Family of the Oba of Benin like his father and grandfather did before him:


That our Great Obas and Ancestors (Enikaro) will be prevail on every true patriotic Benin man and woman not to vote for this TRAITOR GRANDSON called GODWIN OBASEKI-OYOO of his TRAITOR FATHER called GAIUS OBASEKI-OYOO and his TRAITOR GRANDFATHER called AGHO OBASEKI-OYOO.


The fate of our executed and massacred grandfathers and grandmothers in the Benin-British Wars (1897 - 1899) will perpetually haunt them and their children’s children, to their third and fourth generations. Their portion and posterity in Benin Kingdom will be taken away from them and that without recourse or remedy!


Those JUDASES who claim to be Benins and are openly supporting these Traitors are themselves TRAITORS OF BENIN. This inciting and provocative media statement made by Godwin Obaseki against the Benin Monarchy and Benin Indigenes will soon be properly and legally addressed as a deterrent to other TRAITORS like him.

I heard it too, but let the palace decide and speak for us. Even though i dont trust obaseki, osagie ize iyamu can never be govenor of edo state because of what we all know, he is a bad candidate

That is why you are not a true Benin man because if stranger is insulting your own father before your face you will not say that you will wait and let your father speak for himself, rather you will respond immediately to defend your father against the insult of that stranger.

So as an Edo man that comes from a family whose loyalty to the Oba is unquestionably sacrosanct and spawns for over 400 years of faithful service to our Benin king and Benin kingdom, i will not wait for someone else to tell me what to do with my vote (or sword if required) to defend the sacrosanct Stool of Benin and posterity of Great Benin Kingdom.

The Obasekis are traitors in Binin,and history recorded it.

Because ur father was a thief does that make his son a thief. If we remove sentiments,culture,religion and tribalism from Nigeria politics I think we will get it right in choosing a qualified leader. Not this mouth watering he go##s we have as leaders.
