In line with government’s drive to diversify the economy through indigenousproduction, Coscharis Technologies, a Nigerian information and technology solutions company, has been licensed as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the manufacture of the Cosmos Computer brand in Nigeria.


The high speed, compact computers, will cut across the low-end, middle class and high-end space and is specially designed as a rugged devicethat can work anywhere in the world. It is also supported by world class after-sales support from CoscharisTechnologiesoffices nationwide.

A high powered delegation from the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) led by Dr. Vincent Olatunji, the Acting Director-General of the agency was recently at the Coscharis Technologies Ltd Headquarters to officially present the certificate to the company.

According to Olatunji,thecertification was an epoch-making event as Coscharis Technologies was the first Nigerian company to be issued an OEM license since his assumption of office.

Present to receive the certification was Mr. Sunday Emomine Umukoro, MD of Coscharis Technologies, who stated that the journey to Cosmos Computers began about fifteen years ago and is based on the vision of the company’s founders to be in the mainstream of technology drive in Nigeria.

Umukoro, who recently bagged the Titans of Tech Award for his outstanding commitment to the development of the Nigerian ICT industry at the just concluded 2016 Titans of Tech Awards, the biggest technology conference and networking event in West Africa, said thatCosmos Computers is designed to fill the gap for a high quality, proudly Nigerian computer brand that can compete globally. He added that Cosmo computers are high speed, compact models enhanced with 21st century methodology to give theman edge in the market.

The headquarters is what we are asking for, not any other form of presence like sales depot which we have come to know about Dangote's presence (in Southeast) and his investments Nationwide.

May the business climate favor his business and God bless his hard work.

ask yourself how many Nigerians of other regions site their projects nation wide? we are in the era of 'bring it home' every sensible igbo man must bring his investment home like our great Nnewi people. cosmos has done well by locating his farm in the SE ,we want more of that move.

Great going forward. But i believe it's not about creating computers, is the computers creating jobs in Nigeria? Nigeria is still far far behind in Information Technology penetration. But i see a bright future for IT in this country.

This man called Cosmos Mmaduka is something else.. From a poor man to a spare parts dealer. From spare parts dealer to a car dealer and then became the biggest car dealer ever in the history of Nigeria. From car dealer, he invested into various other businesses ranging from real estate, to manufacturing of different kinds of commodities, to investments in health (medical equipment), to Agriculture, etc..

Hopefully, he breaks new grounds and manufacture everything in Nigeria, that's if our damned business environment will let him even recoup his investments talk more, make profits. The very reason why people manufacture their products in China and assemble in Nigeria. On the contrary, since Cosmos already has companies in China he may build there and assemble here..

See this one, where are you from and how many of your people site theirs nationwide? He should build all his companies headquarters in the heart of igboland. Then, he can locate his branches only in biafraland (SE & SS) or outside Nigeria. He ought not to build anything for the contraption called Nigeria.
