Hilda Dokubo is a woman of many parts. This time around she is giving us relationship advice. The youth advocate and star actress is alarmed by the growing divorce cases. She has been married for 30 years and says the best way to keep marriage is forgiveness, loving the family(home) and self-love.

When asked if it was good enough to walk away from a marriage when the man was caught cheating, the actress turned minister of God had said that the woman needs to forgive the man just as God forgives us daily. According to her, the only deal breaker in marriage is when one is in a severely abusive union. She had said:

”You know I’m a Christian, I’m born again, and I’m a minister so no ground is good enough. The Bible charges a man to love his wife as God loves the church. God has not abandoned us because of our sins, even when He caught us red-handed. He still loves us; He’s still giving us the best of help.”

works for her, worked for her. Might not work for you, and it's her opinion. Marriage was never compulsory, is not and will never be. It completed some, it destroyed some. Different stroke for different folk, different cloth length for different sizes. Not a fan of abuse or emotional torture in marriage, cause I'd rather not get into it the first place.

She is a Christian, a born again and also a minister yet she hasn't studied her bible well enough to know that adultery is a good and the only ground I've come across for divorce.

The fact that you have been married for a long time does not make you a marriage counsellor.
if you must say something simply share the secret of your long lasting marriage like she just did and leave it at that.

What works for her might not work for other people, the world is made up of different people and we are wired in many ways you can ever imagine.

Stop feeding the younger ones with poisons just because you are in a position to do so. I hope you can give your daughters same advice.

The bible also says because of the the people were stubborn Moses had to allow divorce.I am sure our generation will not just make God to let us have our way out of our persistence.If the woman life is threaten separation n not divorce can be considered pending when things are been resolved. I hate divorce says the Lord.Just because God allow it doesn't mean its His will n desire.May God help us
