The reason why she barks when she notice a strange face is because they sense a new person is trying to invade their owner territory, since they can't fight back, they instead bark but wild dog would attack and go bit the perceived stranger to keep them off the territory. It also happens with fellow dogs that's why Dogs are superb for secuity.

To get your dog to attack and bite.

Feed your Dog with meat, raw flesh and bone. Get a glove and wear it, then sit the dog down, After sitting the dog down, tap it in the face with the glove on your arm. This is a way of irritating the dog and trying its patience. Continue doing this until your dog attacks the glove in anger. ( Do you now understand why you must wear an arm-long glove?)

As soon as the dog attacks the glove, say the word
“ attack” loudly. You are doing this because you want to
make your dog understand what the word “attack” really
means. Then Praise the dog verbally or show it that you are pleased. Though it may not be necessary, reward your dog by giving it some meat or bone. But if your dog is often
motivated by food and learns faster with treats, then you
must offer it some then repeat the process till you are sure your dog has learned to attack.

Sir, your dog is 6months old!
You don't expect her to be territorial yet, I still regard her as a puppy who is slowly maturing!
Give her time, don't rebuke her or anything, when she's old enough, she'll be more confident and would attack any threat sir!


I understand your need for a guard dog but this dog is technically a baby who is still scared and unsure of things!
6months is very young, she still has a long way 2 go

U might really need to train ur dog like a someone rightly advised but I believe it could just be time..u'll be surprised it will just look like someone turned on the aggressive and attack switch...u said it's a cross btw a rott and a gsd..these are two guard dogs by default provided the dam and sire are pure breeds
being territorial is a natural trait in all dogs but attack at all times when they see a stranger is not in all breeds unless they are defending demselves.....
i have a cauc cross..at five months my landlord already gave me quit notice....when I got him at 8weeks every one played with him in the compound ooo...they even help me feed him once in a while when they pass by just throwing him small treats of meat or fish head...exactly 5months,the whole story just changed I was the only one he considered a friend, landlord sef Can't pass freely In her own house..just give it time
