Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Screen Malfunction by starlightRR(m): 9:39pm On Sep 30, 2016
I currently have a xiaomi redmi note 2 which screen automatically types 789 continuously and swipes left right on menu screen and would need help to get it fixed.

Note: no impact was made (fall, droppped), no water got into it.....it just started malfunctioning

Nope, the update to miui 8 was done week ago.

Even on TWRP the screen still malfunctions

Return it to where you get it from or look for somewhere to get the LCD online in China.
