My point is..... DAT its a generational belief doesn't make it old SKUL or wrong....because it works! Nothing can change DAT!
it may not necessarily be wrong, it may work. But those methods arose based on the prevailing conditions at that time.Animal hide covered our unclothedness didn't it? but we've all moved on to silk and what have you.

Not may bro....it works.....how many cases of infants deaths u read about through this process? Some things are part of our culture....civilisation can't change them!

well sir to what intent do we do this? its to feed the child.These days, there are easier ways of inducing your child to feed. Much safer ways sef.

normal na. spoonfeeding, bottles and all. usually wat was force fed was akamu. u sure can't force feed peppery food? more friendly foods are out, cerelac weetabix maize, e.t.c. you have bottles that can keep the food warm for a period. sometimes gan, force feeding was to prevent wastage. u know akamu doesn't stay long.

These are foods Na whoever modern! But how do u make a child eat? DAT was my problem...I was addicted to breasts! I had to be forcefed to change DAT! Will cry for days without touching any of these cereals.....
