Malfunctioning Phone: Please Help by SirBigH: 5:23pm On Oct 26, 2016
Hello Tech Guru's in the house. I have a little challenge that I have a feeling I can the solution here.

I got this great Android phone few weeks ago: BQ Aquarius M5. Three days ago, I moved to the capital of another state in the south east from Port Harcourt. Before now, my device has been super in performance. But since moving to this location, my phone has been malfunctioning. I'll just outline the problems:

1. I don't get network for calls and surfing the Web even though everyone around me using same network does have full network plus 3G.

2. Phone gets unusually hot when I turn on the network and battery drains faster than normal.

Please, what might be the possible solution to this problem? I've used all the major networks on the phone. One seem to be working if I'm in a particular spot. Trust me, that spot is very uncomfortable.

Help a brother with a lasting solution...

Install CpU Z from the playstore, under device, check internal storage. if it dosent match the specs of the phone, then it might be a clone.. Do a complete factory reset first just in case there are still files from the person you bought it from..

I've downloaded the CpU Z and this is the information displayed showing that phone is not cloned. What's the next step?

The CPU Z app I suggested was in reference to the guy who complained of low ram on his Samsung not you..

Interesting phone you have, never heard of it, but according to tech radar its a good device.. But the mentioned software been an issue, read below and see for yourself. I will still advice you back up your apps and do a full reset hopefully the company will send an update..

Or if you are adventurous,Unlock the bootloader and flash cyanogen mod on it..
