"Splash!!". I was woken by water spattered on my face. I began trying to make sense of my surroundings as I braced myself for the inevitable. My hands felt numb no thanks to the tight ropes and I tried adjusting them within the rope to get some reprieve when I was greeted by a rather gentle voice my auto-suggestive "me" never thought to hear in such a horrible place and under such a horrible condition. Before me, was a spectacularly handsome, soft-spoken man with a well-tailored suit, fantastic dentition and well-groomed hair. "Hnn! So the devil wears prada". He smiled as he sat down. "Mr gaow", he began, "my sources tell me that you know a lot about what we do in ----". He stopped. I replied; "I'm a detective, it is my duty to---" "yes, yes, yes I know"-he interjected.
"But, you need to see that what we are about is the progress of man-kind and the attainment of true freedom, albeit some minor inconveniences". "So you call taking people's lives, instigating conflicts and global unrest and setting humanity on a self-destructive part, minor inconveniences?" I snapped lividly. He reclined to his chair, moved his glass of water towards me and said "Darwinian theory of evolution posits the survival of the fittest where the stronger animals pass-on their genes. We are no different from animals all in a race to survive which is why we surgically expunge the……" I couldn't stand it anymore as I blurted out; "I'm not just a specie, I am special".
He looked at me for about 3 seconds brought out his revolver, pointed it at me menacingly;"see you on the other side". As he was about to pull the trigger, NEPA took light. "Cut!!! Boyloaf, abeg go hep us on gen".
