Do you think so? Well, when someone hears about blogging in Nigeria the first thing that strips to your mind is definitely Linda Ikeji. Do you remember back then when we had few blogs? and it’s been updated sometimes twice or thrice a week, but when Linda came in, she reshaped the game. Most of you know that she bought a luxury building in Lagos worth 500 million naira, when the news broke out on the net many bloggers took their blogs as serious as eating food lol, and that also caused a lot of people to start their blogs also. Suppose statistic was to be taking on African blogs, i am kinda sure that about 75% of blogs will come from Nigeria, and guest what, it was all inspired by Linda Ikeji’s success. I am not trying to exalt her as the only successful blogger, but guys truth must be said. We also have remarkable bloggers in Nigeria like Uche Pedro of bellanaija.com Noble Igwe of 360nobs.comand stella dimakokorkrus, and a huge of others, tho Uche Pedro started blogging before Linda Ikeji but it’s obvious that Linda is ahead of her in terms of firmness and wealth. Personally, this lady called Linda Ikeji has been my biggest inspiration in the blogosphere, when ever i feel reluctant and discourage and sometimes frustrating about blogging, her thought just strip to my mind and i be like “I can make it”
