A powerful 7.3 magnitude earthquake has struck Fukushima Prefecture in Japan, USGS reported. A three meter tsunami wave alert was issued for Fukushima, Nippon reported.

The quake struck 67km northeast of Iwaki, a city located in the southern part of the Hamadori coastal region of Fukushima Prefecture, Japan.

What's is with Japan and Earthquakes sef? Well, those tectonic fault lines around there is to blame. Sadly, natural disasters like this can't be avoided. I trust them to manage well though, Japanese are like Super-Humans this is not the first time.

The cooling system of the third reactor at the crippled Fukushima nuclear power plant has stopped circulating water, NHK reported citing the Nuclear Regulatory Agency. Authorities said there is no imminent danger as long as there is enough water inside the system.

According to the Nuclear Regulatory Agency the cooling system servicing the Unit 3 spent fuel pool is not able to circulate water to cool the nuclear fuel because of a broken pump.

According to NHK, cooling equipment for the spent nuclear fuel pool in the reactor No. 3 of Tepco's Fukushima No. 2 power plant has stopped.

Ooh Lord, why is this happening to my favorite Asian countries. Japan has had too many disasters... From Hiroshima to Nagasaki to the several earth quakes of high magnitudes. These earthquakes should be happening in witches covens, not in Japan or any well meaning country.

I hope this won't be another mass casualty incident
