I really dont want to sound unpatriotic but-Senate and Rep impasse;no budget; no implimentation of budget;no light, no schools, corruption goes on unabated;banks flunder; yar Adua weak and sick;PDP corrupt and visionless, Niger Delta problem still glaring us in the face,, the list is soooooo long.
Is there any hope for us as a ''country'' called Nigeria or are we just denying the inevitable, whatever that is? Are leaders are bad, but what can we as citizens do apart from complaining (as they obviously dont listen)and cursing them ;praying for God to intervene on our behalf? already now again, they are taking $500m loan that they wont need to pay back til 2069. What that means in reality is that they have mortgaged our children future and you can bet that that money will go to personal houses in Dubai and shopping sprees in Harrods. Also keep in mind that research has said our oil wont last forever, by then when we are paying back and suffering for it they will all be dead and in their graves, their children enjoying the spoils of their ''labour''.
What in Gods name can we as citizens do?
