My Opinion On The Planned Protest By 2baba And Co by kingNovak: 3:23pm On Jan 30, 2017
First of all, I will love to state that I belong to and support no political parties.

I will love to think that I'm a patriotic Nigerian and I love my country to madness. Therefore I support anything legal and peaceful that will make this government, and our politicians have a rethink on the way they have been treating us ordinary Nigerians.

When I first heard about a protest, I was happy and enthusiastic. I felt the time has come for my voice to be heard too. I was prepared to march from Jos to Abuja, I was prepared to buy tshirts and shout pro-Nigeria slogans and sing solidarity songs. That was before I found out who the vanguard of the protest is.

I love 2face Idibia like mad and I have plenty plenty respect for the man, but in all honesty, someone like 2baba doesn't have the morals to lead us into a protest. The same 2face who was gifted a ferrari by one of the people who has put us in this mess, the same 2face who wines and dines with thieves in political attires? The same 2face who hails and praise these thieves in his songs?

Imagine Baba Fela singing 'I de feel like Obasanjo'?. Imagine Baba Fela accepting gifts from the likes of David Mark and co.

Any reasonable Nigerian knows that most of our celebrities can do almost anything as long as they are paid. Another funny thing is that Olamide has signed up to lead the protest. The same Olamide who sang ' e no easy to de chill with governor Ambode' , the same Olamide who boasted that Ambode was his adoptive father, and the same person who was paid to sing and campaign for Buhari and Osibanjo?.

I may be wrong tho, but seriously, I'd rather follow a person who has not been compromised than follow these praise singers who will hail Adolf Hitler and Abubakar Shekau as long as they will get paid.

My protest holds on Election Day 2019.

my suggestion is simple. Why go for a protest where I am almost certain that the organisers are motivated by financial gains alone?

That's not a suggestion though, it's an allegation. You're only looking for reasons not to.

By the way you alleging the organisers have been paid or are expecting payment for protest?

trust me, its not an allegation. Sometime back when Xcetra called these guys out for dick_riding politicians, he was insulted and called all manner of names. Shey na these same guys wan protests?. If they were paid for their support how sure are we that a higher bidder isn't in the picture? And mind you, my problem is not the protest, my problem is who is leading it. Don't come and try to deceive us that you care about Nigeria when you have benefited from the culprits more than millions of Nigerians combined

do u know how much these same people were paid to do jingles and endorse these same politicians they plan on protesting against?. To sink a borehole in a community will cost less than a million naira, out here its like 500k. Yet these guys pocketed millions. Pls answer these question, haven't they benefited from the government more than most of us? If you get paid to support someone who u know was not qualified and u did, how am I sure you are not doing this protest for selfish reasons?

Op,don't mind all those castigate you for your decision not to participate in the protest. Most of them are people who voted for this incompetent government against sound reasons.
They were warned severally, but they refused to listen. They called us wailers and Igbos, now things are not going as they thought they would, they now want to protest. Let them go ahead and protest,by next election time, they'll use their heads.
Bunch of ignorant people who would never accept that they don't know anything.

bro do u know that Don Jazzy publicly apologised to Nigerians for the jingle he and D'banj did for GEJ when things started going south with GEJ's tenure?. Let these guys do the same an then I will gladly follow. Let's not go into a protest blindly. That's the point.

To think of this, there was a business transaction and both parties did their part so what's the apology for?
Is Buhari now a terrorist or Hitler that someone is bound from transacting business with? Smh
