From a report by NOI polls, the following was revealed:

According to the report: MMM ranked highest in awareness with a larger proportion (59 percent) of the respondents acknowledging they have heard about the scheme and this cuts across the four geo-political zones except the North-East and the North-West, which ranked low in awareness level.

Further findings showed that respondents aged between 18 – 35 years had the highest level of awareness (66 percent) and this statistics could be associated with the fact that this is the most adventurous and active age group in the society.
Also, unemployment amongst this age group is very high, therefore, pushing the youths to discover other sources of financial breakthrough to survive.
From the table above we can deduce the following:

1. The most participants in MMM come from the South South with 78% of people coming from there. That is people from Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Bayelsa, Rivers, Delta, Edo.

2. In second place, we have 75% of people from the South East participating in MMM.

3. In joint third place, 73% of the North Central, which include states like: Abuja the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Kogi, Niger, Kwara, Niger, Benue and so on participate in the MMM scheme.
Also, 73% of the South West people participate in the scheme.

4. Ranking number 4, 51% of the North East are also heavily involved in the scheme. Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, Yobe are the states that fall in this region.

5. Lastly, the lowest percentage of people participating in MMM, comes from people in Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, Zamfara which make up the North West. Only 41%.
