but people get robbed on that pedestrian bridge at night. may his soul RIP.
you are very right, the rate of robbery on that pedestrian bridge at night is alarming, both sides are covered with concrete that road user can't see what is happening on the bridge making it a easy target point for robbers.

But I can't see any pedestrian bridge at or around the scene of the incident? But some drivers drive too fast hence their inability to avert situations like this for instance? The victim couldn't have jumped into the road if he wasn't certain that it was safe to do so, I think something went wrong as soon as he tried crossing. Yes the victim is to blame for obvious reasons but that does not erase the fact that he was crushed by a hit and run devilish driver. May his soul rest in peace. Smh

Oluwa watch our back ??

God don't like stupidity

Even if God saves people from mishaps, why do you think he would save a dumb person who chose not to use the pedestrian bridge provided for him but instead wanna commit suicide by crossing a busy road

May God save us ??

You're a big joke

God is busy saving smart people

How do you think he would wanna save some random dude who wants to die ?? There's a pedestrian bridge right there, now explain to me why he would cross a busy road and also why God would save him ??

Nigerians don't like pedestrian walkways and bridges. Come to Port Harcourt and notice that the only one functional one is the one at NDDC mainly because it's mandatory. People prefer walking on the roads.

Government is the root cause! Oyibo will barricade such a busy road leaving you with no other choice than to use the facility. It is known as proactive enforcement.

All he had to do was to use the bridge, i drove on that road the same spot last month during my visit to nigeria and that road is very dangerous and very busy especially now that is has been tarred. An Avoidable death!
