Hello house, please is there any special thing to be done after submitting student visa application, paper route, at the VFS Global? My wife submitted her application on the 8th of Feb and the only email msg we've received is just a tracking number.

Someone should please kindly respond to my question. I beg please!

No sir, there is nothing more to do till you get a communication from the embassy which should be a request to undergo medical examination if she didn't do an upfront medical prior to submitting the application or any additional document request if the embassy needs any from her.

So you have nothing to worry over. If there is any more thing needed, rest assured the embassy will contact her/you. Hope this helps.

Ofcourse it does! Having gained admission for a master in comp sci, it should tell you it does! There are many related branches of physics electronics that have direct application in computer sciences.
Eg. computational physics, Digital signal processing, quantum computing.

One major thing to note is that a VO must see some level of activity in the area of the master you are going for to convience him/her that it is right for you. So make sure you show documentational evidence with a good SOP to show and elaborate on your interest, goals and all you have been doing that involves your proposed course as well as your study plans with it. You have to also broaden their scope in that area, that way they know you choosed rightly and will succeed.

Now that part 12 is here.....

No more refusals or delays,

No more admission rejections,

Most importantly, in this new part, God will take away the spirit and the temptation of submitting forged documents and misrepresentation. Whether mistake or deliberate !

We shall receive plenty of good news in this part.

For those who are about to apply, please do not rush to submit. Take your time, gather and arrange your documents meticulously, seek a 2nd and 3rd opinion about every decision you take regarding your study permit application. When people tell you their opinion, listen and reflect on them. Don't be clouded by your sentiments. It takes you nowhere.

For those who have succeeded in securing their study permit, please and please don't run away, stay and pick up your brothers and sisters. We need you now more than ever.

Justwise, thesoj, MichV, Folaroyal, penitential, osemigho, Austinpee4 and others that I didn't mention, God bless you yafunyafun for your persistency and consistency and your unquenchable drive to always assist and provide support for new members. I am proud of you all.

Really we are all very proud of you. May God guide and protect you in all your endeavours. Hope many more people will join you to push this thread ahead.

The time it takes for deferment is not generic, you may wish to contact your school . Also, it will be wise to check if your school will have intake for your proposed term before deferring.

The cost of living in Alberta is in your program website https://www.ualberta.ca/graduate-studies/prospective-students/tuition-and-cost-of-living-estimate.

Generally, during TRV application, CIC requires that you have 10,000CAD living expenses + your first year tuition, except for those going to Quebec province. You can as well show that you have more than enough to cover for 2yrs program to be on a good standing in terms of available fund for studies and living expenses.

You may wish to contact CIC at ACCRAIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca
Remember to quote your application and UCI number. This is not a guarantee that they will attend to your application, but it is worth giving a try.

BTW, have you done your medical?

Hello,
Go to www.cic.gc.ca select "immigration and citizenship" proceed to
"My Application"select "Check your application status"‎,the page takes you to anther page where you will be asked "What did you apply for"
select "Study permit" from the box and proceed another page where you asked to sign into your online or link your application, from there you'll sign in with a GCkey(if you already have an online acccount) if not you will need to open.

When linking your application you will b asked to put details such as Date of birth, passport details, UCI number, start date of program and end date. When fillIng the space it should be noted that you put just your UCI number, date of birth and given names.

If your application is a new one, you don't need to fill any application number in the space while filling it to avoid it been linked with your old application.

Its main advantage is that it provides real time information or updates about your application. There will usually be an email prompting you to log into your account when you have an update.
