Evicted HM bally is not a 'street boy' afterall. His father Senator Isaiah Balat a successful business man was appointed Minister of State for Works & Housing in the cabinet of President Olusegun Obasanjo in June 1999. Before his death he served as the Minister of State for Works and Housing from 1999-2000 and also as a Senator representing Kaduna South Local Government from 2003- 2007 and was a fmr Special Adviser (Office of the Vice President) He died in 2014 at the age of 62, was a notable Kaduna politician and a close aide of President Goodluck Jonathan. He established the Isaiah Balat Foundation, which has the goal of vaccinating over a million people across Kaduna state against Meningitis. |
