I thought it was a phone thing. didn't know PCz couldn't also process the command after clicking the register icon.

Yes, you have to. Does'nt have to be lenghty. You will be asked, Why are you applying for this opportunity? There is a box below that question. Write all you want there. That serves as the cover letter.
