The immediate past President of the United States, Barack Obama has declared that what he will do in his post-presidential life is to help the next generation get dynamic in political issues.

Obama made the declaration at a board facilitated by the University of Chicago – his first open occasion since Donald Trump progress toward becoming President.

“There’s a reason why I’m always optimistic, even when things aren’t necessarily going the way I want, and that is because of young people like this,” Mr Obama said, gesturing to the young adults who joined him on the panel.

Obama said he considered taking a shot at various issues in the wake of leaving office, but chose to invest in the leadership of the next generation. He contended that only a couple of Americans take an interest in governmental issues right now, guaranteeing US races see the "least voting rates of any democracy government".

Mr Obama ascribed that lack of engagement to different issues, from the polarization of political gatherings to the strength of unique interests. He understood, he said on Monday, that "the main people who will be ready to tackle that are youngsters."
