It is disrespect of the highest order to be comparing Owerri, Abakaliki to Ibadan...
And for these half baked illiterates, most beautiful is different from developed. Johannesburg and Cairo are Africa's most developed cities while Kigali, Cape Town are Africa's most Beautiful cities...receive sense, folks!

Im sure of 2 things.
1. You probably have not been to Ibadan before or
2. You are just being mischievous
And as for those brown roofs, it showed early civilisation in that part of Nigeria. In other words what I mean is that when those houses were built its either your state was not in existence or your the state was so backward that they were still using tatch roof.
Face it if your comunity does not have such roof, your state did not recieve civilisation early.
These are just facts. I dont live in Ibadan but when I was there I was like wow. It wont be a bad idea to do a quick weekend there fro Lagos busy life

best comment ever

the truth is they didn't received civilization early, so the time they received it the world have been civilized, so they didn't used the roof they used the modern one

You are the one distorting fact, cocoa was the major revenue then, even nw that oil takes the plate, they are transported through our port and remember Ondo contribute 13% of nigeria oil.

distorted history has distorted your brain but let me disabuse your mind here. see imperial report below:

How wrong you are. Those are just colonial and post colonial structures, nothing ancient about them. Tomorrow I will going to see my aged mum and I will snap a picture of the building my father built in the 60's. Your people are content to live in dilapidated houses.

If you wonna compare post the beautiful pictures in your capital. And stop downgrading other cities cheesy
.

No need to tell him that. You can see from his post that he is half educated.
How can u compare an ancient city to a developing town?
Abakaliki of all places?
The guy no well.
My work takes me around the country and I have stayed in all the geopolitical zones. Ebonyi is the least developed state in the east. Even the level of exposure of people there is very low.
All the pix of Ibadan that was posted were ancient parts of the city. If not for civil war, maybe easterners would have kept an heritage for themselves.
Ibadan is a great city. I believe that Lilliputian from abakaliki does not have the financial muscle to afford accommodation in a good area on ibadan
