In South Africa nko, MTN offers 5MB just 5MB for N100.



In Nigeria, we are really enjoying cheap data bundles.

The OP made the appropriate conversion already na. If you know how much USD those other countries' individual currencies are worth, for instance, then you should know how much the Naira is worth compared to those other currencies.

What I think you need to detail, is how many MB so-and-so GHC will buy. If the equivalent in USD will get less data in Nigeria, then you can claim the OP isn't correct. Otherwise, the number of Naira to the GHC does not mean much in this matter.

What exactly do you want us to do?

To start praising Telecom companies like Glo for offering cheap data on a very sh!tty internet connection that makes one swear?

In as much as we enjoy "cheap data", how's the service there compared to here? Most of these countries have fast and reliable mobile Internet in every location. I had my mtn go off for almost 3days some weeks back. My airtel I have to restart mobile data every 5 minutes (I'm not exaggerating) to have the Internet going. At least I've experienced mobile data in Dubai, it's expensive no doubt but when they say 10mb,you're sure it's 10mb. And then most people there use mobile Internet for email, whatsapp and emergency services. You have cafés around offering very cheap Internet service (in shops or through WiFi if you stay around the area). Not to talk of free WiFi connection in some public places.

40 Ghana cedis to Naira is about N3,000. It then mean that at the rate N3,000 equivalent to Ghana cedis, they sell 9.6g while 10g is N2,500 in Nigeria (glo) .it then means that op was right all along

Don't mind them instead of them to argue with facts they result to insults. Mr A's opinion might not be the same with Mr B's own but it doesn't mean they're not entitled to their opinion. If you want to refute an opinion, you argue with facts not sentiments as being portrayed. It didn't take me time to confirm your assertion even after interviewed some foreigners in Nigeria about our data tariff. My respondent said that data is very cheap here compared to their country
