I am not married and I don't have children yet, however losing weight is hard as it takes a lot of determination and dedication. I am sure it is doubly hard after giving birth, as the woman's attention is mostly on their children at this time. If you are the one going through this, you can't be brash or harsh about her weight gain because women in general are really sensitive about weight issues.

Start a routine of taking walks/jogs together, going to the gym together, compliment her on her efforts and I am sure she will start to get the hint and want to get back into shape ASAP.

You have to understand that a womans body changes after childbirth and also exercise is not part of Nigeria's culture (Im sure we all see married men rocking the pot-bellied look). Also the woman concentrates on the kids, her husband, the house that she forgets about herself. Men should be supportive instead because Marriage is for better for worse. I often wonder why women really lose shapes after childbearing.Most of the time they get excessively shapeless leaving the men wondering where their shapely wives are.Why do women fail to work on their shapes after childbearing?I know of a man who,somewhere deep down,gets disgusted when he sees his wife bulgy tummy.Women,is it that difficult keeping in shape after bearing children?

the only difference is that women can blame it all on the baby they carried while men would blame it on excessive beer and amala.

it all depends on where you are looking and what they are after.
lil girls would flock to be with these pot bellied old monsters because they would be paid to do so (thats what ignorance and poverty does to people).
i can assure you that if a shapeless woman with extreme baby fat would pay young guys to be with her, then she would be as busy as the pot belly guys(check NL for all the ads of young guys looking for sugar mummy).

its just that the 9ja society looks down upon such woman but yet, has accepted the attitude of these pot belly rich guys.

i have yet to see a young sexy and cute 20yr old gal going for a pot bellied old guy FOR LOVE!

u had better be comfortable with the little or no attention you will get from me and i sure as hell will not turn my life into a painful endurance trek just because u lack discipline!!!! and i sure as hell will not be having sex or sleeping in the same room with such woman, i think i deserve to wake up to better sights than a human whale with flabs 1st thing in the morning! i cant even take u out!!!
