COMMON MISTAKES YOU MUST AVOID WHEN TRYING TO GET PREGNANT.

Research Has revealed that couples who try to get pregnant make certain mistakes that reduces their chances of conceiving. Read and find out which one you are guilty of and make the necessary adjustments.

1. Timing - The typical woman experiences a 28 day cycle. What this means is that ovulation usually occurs on day 14. But, don't assume this timing applies to you since cycles vary based on individuals. Yours could be slightly shorter or longer according to experts. So, for you to be able to figure out the exact day your ovulation takes place, you need to count back 14 days from the day your period started. This technique can help you estimate when ovulation takes place each month.

2. Worrying About Positions - You see, you may have been led to believe that particular positions during sex gives you better chance at getting pregnant but, that's not true. You see, the truth is, majority of a man's sperm goes towards the the egg of the woman as soon as he ejaculates and this happens in a matter of seconds . So, don't over stress yourself about positions. Your chances of getting pregnant depends on many factors than mere positions.

3. Having Unhealthy Habits - Another mistake you must avoid is to indulge in habits like drug use, smoking etc. It is important also that you avoid been overweight - keep a balanced and healthy diet. Also, slow down on caffeine as studies have shown that it affects the rate at which your body absorbs iron which is a major player in boosting fertility.

4. Having sex only on the particular day you (think) you are ovulating - You see, there are chances that you might ovulate one or two days before or after the day you think you will ovulate even if your cycle is super-regular 28 day cycle. Even if you ovulate the exact day you think (day 14), sperm is capable of living inside a womans body between 24-48 hours, sometimes, upto 7 days after sex. If you are hoping to boost your fertility odds, experts suggests starting to have sex 4 - 6 days before ovulation and 4 - 6 days after.

5. Thinking you the woman is "the problem" - So many couples focus all their fertility investigation on the woman. But, realistically, some experts have pointed out that 40% of the time, the problem can be attributed to the man. So, both of you need to see the doctor. Your partner may probably need a semen analysis to rule out any problems on his part.

I must urge you never to GIVE-UP. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
