I have this issue eating me up and don’t have a clue as to how to go about it.
There is this friend of mine. We have been together for over a year now. I know he is interested in me, but has said nothing. When I also began to feel something for him, I sent him a text message informing him of my feelings for him. He called me back to inform me of the need for both of us to sit and discuss.

My fear is that I don’t know if what I did is right, because I am scared of any damage to my reputation.

Worried Lady.

What do u want to tell him again after u had sent him a text to express what u felt for him?Hope ds wont back fire anyway cos to me it is a wrong move.

so its wrong cos she made the first move??
biggups, poster, if we had more girls like u, maybe we guys might actually be more faithful

@kpoli, ur comment seconded.
@poster, u're 1 helluva girl. Dont mind them nigerian chics wey dey form. When they loose d guy, they'll then try snatchin him from his next girlfriend who might have mustered up d courage to do what u did. Chics like u know what they want, go 4 it, & get it unlike d typical naija babe. D guy wont turn u down, believe me.

Have you spoken to him?
First have the discussion with him before worrying over what may or may not be.

Sending text message is a wrong decision, what you should have done is make advances at him, not to go direct, that's a wrong approach.

Well don't be discouraged it depends on the guy, how he takes it, becareful Babygirl he is at advantage know since you made the first move .

i think u expressed ur inner feelings which is quite natural for honest pple. since u deemed it fit to let him know ur feelings about him, u better count on his maturity to handle this like an adult (mature person). but i dont feel u made a mistake. its natural and plain. play ur cards well so u wont have to deal with any hearth break or disappointment.

Next time don't text when you are Hot. grin Good luck.

You sure are a confident one, which is what most matured men appreciate and respect.

Pls do not use text messages for things like these next time. You never know where the message can end up.

Expect the best and I hope the guy treats you with the respect that you truly deserve.

Goodluck.

The way some guys reacts to issue like a woman making the first move is very bad and irritating. There are better ways a lady can express her feeling towards a guy which will make the guy respond and it wont show that she is the first to make the move. But with this her so called bold move,i wonder the kinda way the guy will treat her later

Is there a rule that says a guy must always make the first move?

yea, like they said the medium she used wasn't so good apart from recycling the text, i would av preffered her telling him in person so she would

get a first hand expression and not a rehearsed speech . . . . .but the deed is done already i wish her luck wink wink
