Hello NL,

I have observed over time that new marriages still have their newly wedded wives still attach their fathers name to their names on social media, especially if they are from a reputable family. this is contrary to what should be!

why is it so?

Read your history. Changing to one's husband's name is actually "21st century", it wasn't that way before.
