i have one question. My husband has a Higher Diploma in Building Technology.
Is there any Chance he can use his Degree within Europe for Work? Are Extra-Exams needed? Does anybody have a clue about it?

Where did he get the Diploma?

hm..good question. I think it was Yaaba College/University? Lagos. I always forget the name
But over here nobody can tell me, if its working or not....
I think, that he maybe should still go for other classes later, but some german authorities dont know, what they are doing. They keep telling us, that they dont know the subject and are done with it...

What sort of work does he want?

He should go for a short course in Germany that relates to the course and make sure he get a CERTIFICATE and a course which includes work placement would be more helpful

Health and Safety is a big issue in Europe and they dont generally accept Qualifications they are not familiar with especially if they dont know the curriculum it follows

building technology is lyk civil engineering bt excludes structural designing, he cn work as a builder in a building construction company or under a civil engineer in a civil s civil engineering construction company, he wud b in charge of building production management
