Uniosun Rain Semester 2016/2017(Gns&Frn) Exams Has Been Cancelled by Officialkplus(m): 10:23am On Sep 07, 2017
*DOES OUR FUTURE AND LIFE MATTERS TO UNIOSUN MANAGEMENT AT ALL?*

Yesterday, September 6th, 2017, it came as a shock to student when it was passed across via a whatsapp chat that all GNS paper are to be re-done by every students. This has made us to start wondering if Uniosun cares about our future and even our life.

First and foremost, exams scheduled to hold by August 14th of last month was disrupted or should we say cancelled as a result of ASUU strike. The school instead of joining the strike says it so much cared about our future and as a result did what was tagged a "boju boju" examination for students. As a result of this boju boju exam, some campuses never completed their examination, while others did, some are still doing.

*Do UNIOSUN care about future?*

Is it that they wanted us to write the exams and they say they care about our future or is it that they are just looking for a way to balance the school calendar.

Under pressure, some campus did the exams, some never did, some are still doing. After exams now, they will tag students as failure forgetting how they made us write exam and even how they made us not to write an exam we prepared for already (Osogbo campus was given examination papers, and after sometimes asked to leave the examination hall with report that exam has been cancelled for that day. We even learnt that some finished their examination, ASUU came in and tore the paper, says the examination is illegal.....don't know how true that is).

At night, examination was conducted in Ejigbo, in Okuku, some level wrote 7papers in just 3days and yet they say they want the best for us. In Ikire campus, the school gate was closed and yet, the Dean keep saying examination will hold. They want to be ranked among the best universities in the country. Do they even care about the outcome of such examinations?

*DO THEY CARE ABOUT OUR LIFE?*

Uniosun is not a school that contains students from Osun state alone. It comprises of students from north, east and in fact more of other western states than that of Osun state itself. Hence, do the management care about our life, do they even consider the risk involved in moving around. Okuku students already left campus for their various homes, and now you are calling them back to come sit for an exam that they already did. Student will have to come traveling back to the campus. This involves risk. A school that have had counts on the deaths of students in just this session alone. We do not want to risk going, coming and going back again to our various homes. Consider our life's if you don't consider our result.

*NO INFORMATION.*

The management have totally fail in its information desemiination. In fact, it makes one wonders if a public relations department even exists in our so- called institutions.

Our portal is there, it is not used for sharing information but collection of school fees and late registration fees. The news you see there are stale news; "Uniosun students wins award in Ukraine and so on.... Ever since the inception of this boju boju examination combined with ASUU strike, the management have not deem it fit to address the student. We only receive information through WhatsApp chat and that makes it difficult for us to determine how true the news is. Don't we have Memo?

Dear management,

Please, if you don't consider our results, please do consider our life's. We do not want to mourn any more. Find a way of making the institution a better place of learning for us. Manage this crisis in the best possible way not just making us wander around, beating around the bush like the mallam wandering with his sheeps all around.

UNIOSUN CONCERNED STUDENTS'.

Plsss RBC till it gets to the management.
