Just like the core Hausa/Fulani's of today, the Rwandan Tutsi's dominated the helm of politics in Rwanda. They were not as educated as the Hutu but they occupied commanding heights in the Rwandan government. When their cup became full, the Hutu pounced on them and the rest is history.Talking about the Rwandan genocide of 1994.

Nigerians once thought that if a major civil war breaks out in the country,it would be between the north and the south. However, recent developments in Jos have shown that the North itself will self destruct and the war will be waged by their own people.
Unknown to many, the Nigerian north is mainly christian with seven core northern states of Kebbi,Sokoto,Kano,Katsina,Jigawa,Yobe and Borno being the only fully Muslim societies. From Kaduna down to Gombe is a blend of indigenous Christians and Muslims, and from Plateau,Benue,Taraba and Kogi states, its an all out christian majority. Believe it or not,the Nigerian army is dominated by middle belt Christians though their commanding officers tend to be Hausa/Fulani.
With the unfolding scenarios in Yaradua's health cabal and other national issues, the north is beginning to box itself in a corner. The crisis in Jos is a deep manifestation of the demise of Hausa/Fulani grip on northern Nigeria.

Even the Arewa consultative forum has sensed this, the group had never missed words in condemning Yaradua's cabal and his health saga. ACF has sounded very progressive of late, unlike the typical northern groupings Nigerians were used to.
I'm beginning to fear the worst for the Hausa Fulanis, its beginning to look as though the rest of the country will soon rise up against them at the end of which they will become an insignificant group as the case is for the Hausa Fulanis of Ghana,Togo,Benin and Cameroun.

I really do not like this talk, shocked

It sounds like genocide talk.

And FYI, the Tutsis were smarter than the Hutu. Plus, the Tutsi were a minority in power. That is like making the Nupe in charge of all of Nigeria.
