Accident is never a nice experience, I am still thanking God for my life yesterday when I experienced brake failure, I was battling with the brake while my eyes was on the road looking out not to hit someone or vehicles, everything happened within a seconds, God forbid I had hit someone, no one would have listen to hear my side of the story.

She's a victim of poor road maintenance. Few years ago Owerri/Onitsha expressway was so smooth with zero potholes but today the use of one way as a result of failed portion at Irete town has caused more than 30 deaths in a short period of time. The village youths have stopped the one way today and any car that defiles it gets its windscreen smashed to pieces. It's better fir car to spoil than to lose human life.

These njaba and mgbidi tipper drivers drive carelessly often times under the influence of ogogoro (dry gin) and weed.
One of the days i was driving along akabo, before me was a careless young tipper driver. i had to apply defensive driving because an idiot left his lane to harass me out of my lane. But one thing about driving is you have drive as if every other person is mad in order to stay alive.

Is unfortunate this innocent lady's life was cut short by a careless tipper driver. I'm happy he was caught and served the beating of his life. May the soul of the deceased RIP.

Owerri and bad news this days are like bread and coconut! You can hear them for anything good.

Poot people suffering and frustrating each other everyday.... now a poor soul is gone and some other poor souls will suffer hunger cos that tipper is surely somebody's means of surviver..



*Why burning the truck*

So sad, rip lady.

About two weeks ago, on a Sunday, I witnessed an accident on that same spot.

The road in question is a federal road and the Onitsha-Owerri axis is bad at a particular point; a very bad and almost impassable spot. So most of the motorists resort to driving against the normal Owerri-Onitsha traffic lane (one way driving) especially whenever it rains.

On that Sunday I stopped over at irete, the same spot this particular accident happened. A young man before me was crossing the road with a gallon, probably to buy fuel with.

I think he forgot the menace of the 'one way drivers', and because the normal traffic lane was free he decided to cross the road.

A keke driver driving against the lane (one way) hit this dude who landed on express road. When people ran to help him up, his right leg was completely broken above the ankle.

People have been warned against driving 'one way' on that road, and now it has taken a life is when they would apparently stop and probably repair the road.

And I ask; why must it take blood and life for us to do the normal thing in this country?

What would it take the concerned authorities to repair a patch of this busy road that is not more than thirty linear meters? On a very busy road fa?

We joke too much in this country. Honestly.

In as much as I sympathize with d family of d dead..,pls if you must cross express way ,always tk ur time and watch wellllllll...most times in life two pple don't commit same mistakes.

too many accidents these days, Ive seen broken limbs like there is no end to it these past 2 weeks.
