Hello guys... Pls I have a friend that believes he's so Ugly and people(mostly girls) always look at him when he passes by and Laugh at him a lot....
He's talented but he can't showcase himself cos he believes he's unpresentable.......

Don't send anyone his pictures, it is just adding insult to injury. He is still seeking validation.

Sadly, your friend is not alone. There are many people who suffer from inferiority complex issues because of one reason or the other. it can lead to depression and death if not properly dealt with.




1) First of all, your friend must stop caring about what other people say about him. Let him realize that people will always have a thing or two to say, regardless of how good or bad he looks.

2) Promote his talent among your friends and let him take credit for it; encourage him to ignore girls and focus more on his talent. You as a friend can help him market his talent more. You may or may not do it with his knowledge, but let him take the credit. it will help his self esteem.

3) let him get into conversation with more of your friends; start conversations and ensure you force him to contribute. it will get him out of his shell and improve his self esteem. Although he might not like this at first, but he will appreciate it later

4) Encourage him with quotes like this

" you can't change how you look, but you can always change how you feel"

"No amount of external validation can change the way you feel about your self"

let him recite it , whenever he feels intimidated and feels like he is inferior.
