Good morning, my people. If i want to buy a used car from the north and i live in the south. Is it possible for the dealer to bring the car over to the south even though i would bear the cost? Because i cannot go up there to get the car.. Thanks.

Don’t pay for transportation of car you haven’t seen..... scammers everywhere

Secondly any car you haven’t physically seen or inspected by a trusted person, you shouldn’t in anyway commit financially to the car.... what about if what you saw in the picture isn’t what you then saw then the car was brought to you? Will you then say I no wan buy again carry an go?

Even the so called Toks can be a pain in the ass, let alone Naija use.

Lastly awof dey run belle, most of those cars in Northern part of the country very cheap abi? (Especially Kaduna) Just be careful sha, they don’t manufacture cars in the north ooo.....

Just be careful

NB I am not saying every car advertised in the northern part of the country is bad just saying you should be careful.....

Do you have someone reliable who resides in the North and can inspect the car on your behalf?

If no, I advise that you do not worry yourself unnecessarily about this car.

Look out for cars around your location to buy.

Do not be in a hurry to buy just any car that may create a hole in your pockets.

Jejely look for something within your immediate environment if you can't go there with an open mind by yourself. You go to the North and car may not be worth the stress, and you may not get a mechanic you trust to inspect it for you there.

Dealer won't bring car because it's too much trouble going cross country. But if you trust dealer enough to come after sending money to bring it down, then try it out.

The ball is in your court.

Have it in mind that one of d commonest formats guy-men(scammers) who do 'local' use is they give you a nice offer on a car that really looks nice(pictures most times lifted from OLX,jiji, etc or even nairaland sef)
Their target then is d 30-50k you will pay for them to drive d car to your location cos of course, you will prolly insist you will only pay for d car when you see it.
There is nothing you are looking for that you won't see in d south,at most you waka go Lagos.
