Most of these things are covered in an MBA program.
It's just that MBA requires a lot of money and it also requires longer time to complete.

CISCO and CCNA, are they still relevant? Because I have seen some guys with those certifications yet not doing anything meaningful.

I still don't understand why people are not learning things like salesforce, hadoop, aws, azure, tableau etc. These are some of the courses that will stand the test of time. Not to talk of money spinning. Anyway, knowledge is power....ignorance is a disease.

How marketable or good depends on how you intend to use it. Like I always tell people to get little experience in the propose field they want to get certification from, could be as an intern or trainee. Don't just take exams because others are doing so. IT field is so broad that we have so many certifications.

CCNA(If you are starting out Networking) and CCNP for the advance ones.
OCISSP(For the database guys)
MYSQL for developers( for web developers beginners)

We have so many other certification that substitute any of the ones above. Microsoft certifications are there too.

OP.... there are many bodies and firms issuing out these certifications, especially to corp members. I know one Prime International like that who ru. these programs.. Are you saying their certs might not be legit or recognised all over? plus the programs are cheap even, said they had to cut it down for corp memebers...
