I started learning how to code about 3 years ago, though am not deeply into programing yet.
I started with HTML then CSS and now Python..

Then it all started wen CMS like Wordpress, Drupal and the rest came out, then I was still learning HTML, I was the beginning to see my html seem useless, these softwares can now be used to build a full functional website without coding, then where is my future, I wanted giving up but along the line I realised that this softwares can't just do it all, and again there was the need to keep learning, ... I continued my html

Then again I then heard of another program that can convert PSD to html designs and probably, code. Thereby wiping off the need of web designers, I still was discouraged but was forced by my zeal to keep moving cos above all these programs where created by a programmer and then I was still on it...programming...

Then the one that weak me pass was wen I learnt about the AI(still under development) that could write codes much better and 10x faster than man..

So I have been thinking, after all this my night/web crawling days one robot will jus come and sit down and begin to write a code that will take me 10days to write, just in a day...

Biko what is happening sombody shud put me clear.. If this happens

Pls what's our fate then

We become needless because AI will now be making more AIs that can do absolutely anything

Biko where is detective spoon, I am highly afraid o because this won't only affect us but the whole world at large..

Do you know that people earn over 200k monthly by just converting PSD to dynamic Website either by using WordPress or html/css/JavaScript (Bootstrap). I assume you are waiting to build a system like twitter and the rest before you start earning. I am sorry for you.

look my instructor once told me ... you must learn how to bend to the rhythm and flow of things if you want to remain relevant .. if AI is the current trend why not acquire some skills in machine learning and for the things you mentioned they were created and all need back end maintenance at intervals.....
Everything is all about being flexible and ready to try different fields ..

You sound like a hobbyist and not a professional.

You are not even "good" at the ones you are using and you are worrying about AI taking over your job.

There is a lot of things you need to start seeing differently

what you read on blogs in tech developed countries doesn't fully apply to what happens in Africa as a continent.

first identify what is lacking in our country and try sloving it gradually before you start looking above the eagles eyes

look at tech companies in the country that haven't closed ask yourself what makes them different and figure out how their business model works if you can't make research

as long as you keep looking for a way to solve problems no Matter how small with your skills set then what you should worry about is improving on those skills and keep looking for more people to slove their problems inline with tech

having said all this please go back and create a line of dichotomy between your views as a programmer and the actual task you meant to perform in sloving problems

best regards
