What i really want to know is how to manage my wife's talkativeness. She doesn't keep secretes from her family. We have been married for four years now and all these years, every little thing that she does like putting food on the table, paying part of the rent, buying clothes for the kids, she tells her family that she is the one sustaining the family. No matter how little they are. And i observed that each time she spends her money for up keeping in the house, she will start insulting me, tells me i am irresponsible man and so on.
She makes money more than i do. but even at that, i am the one paying the kids school fees, we pay the house rent together and as for the house up keeping, she brings when i am buoyant. i pay most of the bills at home. I don't demand anything from her but any time she assists in paying one or two bills, she becomes arrogant and insulting.
Please, i want to know how to manage such a wife because i have stopped appreciating her and telling her some confidential matters because of her childish attitude.

She probably do not have respect for you and she is arrogant.Have you tried to talk to about keep stuff Private ?

Is she the only one meeting you halfway? Are you doing same? Because if she's carrying two burdens, financial and domestic she will surely feel cheated.

First of all, have you tried to communicate with her in a "civilized" manner about her character and how you think it is damaging to your family, especially to you as a husband?

There's no way to manage such a wife, believe me. You don enter one chance. Before bringing this online I'm sure you must have tried all manner of 'communication' to no avail. She doesn't respect you, and that may not even be due to you financial status. It's the way she is. Even if you start earning one million naira monthly tomorrow, there's no guarantee it will change anything.
Just accept the situation like that.

OP in marriage there are a lot of shut you have to swallow that are undignifying. you guys are meant to support each other as you're doing now. don't be rude to her and don't discuss this with people around you. find her in her private time when everything seems cool. then talk to her about this. but don't make attempt at flaring up when she get rude.

my take on her is that she never experienced life enough to know it ain't smooth with time she will gets to appreciate you.
