1. The job on my employment visa is guard
2.my contract at MOHRE via checking with the app, is guard also, but my basic salary there is showing 900aed as basic....
3. Thanks, but we have had cases in this company where the mgt shift the fine to the guards n started deducting it from their salary
4. I meant the firm, won a new contract; I have a valid Emirates I'd, I have had for months now to expire in 2019
5. A case like this, who handles it, labour or sira?
If I decide to refuse to work, how does it look like?

For the records, I am not Jesti.

Back to your question, you must do MOE, MOFA, UAE Embassy all in Abuja before you can do the final attestation in UAE, so don't waste your time going to MOFA in UAE if you have not completed those aforementioned attestation.

You must send the hard copies to someone in Abuja to get it attested. Scanned copy is not acceptable.

As at the time I was there, issues of no visa change for Nigeria was circulating. Then I calculated how much I have spent and how much I am willing to spend again........ got to Nigeria a friend scope me again work visa rushed me to go do pcc spent like 50k on top dat one again. He say d Hr go call my naija number personally no money involve oooooo till today still dey expect call. Then all the abuja work/visit visa stress set in again. So na to seat down think am well. At least after leaving two guys in my room got a job through Dulsco Hr. So mayb my head no work for Dubai ���‍♂️. Na d money dey pain me but life goes on all na experience. Leave to fight another day.

I remembered I came here asking the gurus to check my cv Wch they did and said was ok. Even attested my Bsc. Before leaving naija. it was a tough one. DXB is not for the faint hearted. Be ready to take anything that happens. Too much problem habibi this not to discourage anyone but to let dem be prepared!!!

They would only shift the fine to u if you failed to pass the SIRA/DPS at the first time. but its always on the Employer. Just inform SIRA whenever the case arises. its not yet time to make a case. cos some employers are funny , they might decide to keep you at home for insisting.

Pls help me treat this as a matter of urgent!

I just came in to uae on fri and have determined to search for job without agent. As God will be on my side I approached one restaurant on Sunday and the owner of the restaurant promised to employ me but still contemplating but before I left the place he collected the photocopy of my visa, passport page and police clearance. As God will have it I got another job today in big supermarket as a SALES ASSOCIATE in which I was told to resume immediately tomorrow morning and ask me to bring the original and photocopy of my PCC, passport page , visa and 2passport.
The very first one is still contemplating and asnt tell me when to resume. The second one told me to resume immediately.
Hope their is not going to be a problem accepting the second offer? Then from experience, what should I do?

No probs here, u hav not sign any contract with anybody, if d first is still contemplating u can resume at the second, but if d first gives u a contract u can compare dem and choose wats best for u.

So far the second hav ask u to resume, why not resume now and watch if dey will start processing ur employment visa

They have retracted all Abuja visa processing and all visa can now be gotten in UAE as before, so if your visa is still under process, when it is out you don't need to got to Abuja again and also visa change is back for Nigerians......see attached

Hi justi4jesu, with recent events, I do hope you have realized that this information is not accurate.

I have it on good authority that UAE is only issuing 1 month and 3 months tourist visas at the embassy in Abuja. Your travel agent would still have to apply for you normally in UAE, once it’s approved, he would send you the ‘issue new visa confirmation’ which you would need to take to the Embassy along with your attested PCC and Original Passport. Please note that they are now taking biometrics before issuing the tourist visas.

Anyone with contrary or same info can also contribute.

Yes the steps your mentioned are correct but e-visas are still being issued as at even yesterday, i will attach one of many e-visas that i got yesterday. But recently, most people prefer the Abuja process because they like to dis-virgin their passport and the visa stamp on their passport makes them feel good which i understand

So some visas are coming full(i.e E-visa paper) the old way while some are coming half to be completed and stamped at Abuja

Also if the person is coming for tourist/visa, he/she does only biometrics and sometimes they ask for PCC. But if the person's intention is to come search for a job, then they will request for PCC, Medicals and bio-metrics.


Attached Visa was issued yesterday but i will advice anyone coming to go through the Abuja process.
