As at last year August-September, The Polytechnic, Ibadan Post-UME cut-off was within the range of 120-160 depending on each department's requirement.

Applicants who made The Polytechnic, Ibadan as their First and Second choice should exercise patience. The Management are yet to release the cut-off mark for 2010/2011 basically because the school has just gotten a new Rector. I need to urge you all that everything will be fixed soonest.

Second semester begins in July.

@Casmir, i'm really impressed! It's only you that make this lovely thread interesting again. 'Bout your post; you are partially right then that the management are yet to release the cut-off as a result of just assumed rector.(despite the fact you quoted my post) The management hasn't really taken the precious time to decide on the new incoming students when the school is still in session. Let me remind you that before the management could do so that'd be mid-second semester i.e August-September.

All applicants should exercise little patience till the time comes. I've already promised those that have been calling me that as soon as i have full access to the information related to 2010/2011 admission, i'll get back to you already.

From the Ministry of Education; the jamb cut-off has finally been released. The cut-off which has been agreed on to be slated at 180 so as to avoid disparities among Nigeria Higher Institutions be it Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education.

For those who scored 180 and above, i congratulate you all, the major itch now is to meet up with the requirements of your choice of schools as it now depends on each school to decide on the basic.
