please don't waste ur time with those guys up there.
Nairaland is not from scratch, it is from simple machine forum(SMF).

Smf is a free script u can install from www.simplemachineforum.com. But before u can get the exact clone of nairaland, you have to find the version of the smf that seun installed, all u need to do is to google the version of nairaland.

And also there are some work u have to do once more if u need the complete functionality of nairaland. You will have to need a programmer who is good in python or u can learn it urself, it is a simple stuff if u are kinda serious.

Then implement python. You are done...

I see sport niche as a very mouth watery in terms of traffic and income. Carry on..

Can you please see the LASU and Badagry forum link I have which will match your requests? I just helped a few persons too last week with the installation.

i haven't set up one before, i have been planning to set up one since i want to venture into online business but i am falling short of capital. When i mean capital, i mean funding for advertisement for the forum to grow. i don't just want to set it up and see it stagnant like the numerous ones i have seen..

I should have recommend you to some guys with ur spec but i don't have their contacts..

I have been reading how to set all these up but i haven't done it practically....
I will come back to this thread once, i get someone u should recommend

My advice... Don't be a copy cat if you really want to make it online. Nairaland was built using SMF and here is a link to a forum I just installed using SMF.. Its a demo, I'm just a developer and am not interested in running a forum. Its just for my clients to have a look and decide if they want it.. forum.universalweblinks.com.ng
