I wish there was someone I could blame. I wish there was a God I could pour out all my anger on. My mom's best friend just died. She lost the battle of less than a year to breast cancer. She had three children just about to blossom. She had always longed for the day everything will be fine, the day she will see her daughter get married and her sons successful. She trusted in a God that would do all these for her, a God that would heal her of her ailment and keep her. And now she is gone.
Like they did everything to please you, they did the best they could but you disappointed them, you hurt them.
It doesn't help that I am in far away Taraba serving this godforsaken nation. I really cannot believe I won't see her again. This life is really cruel!

The only way the Bible makes sense is if we conclude that god is a raving lunatic whose greatest thrill comes from human suffering. Its only when christians try to claim that "god is good" or "god loves us" that the story gets ridiculous.

This is supposedly a being that KNOWS EVERYTHING and has INFINITE POWER. Yet he stands by and watches every time a child is molested and does NOTHING to stop it. Does he strike the molester dead on the spot? No. Does he send policeperson? No. Does he do ANYTHING to prevent it? No. Even though he could help the child with less than the blink of his almighty eye. Why? He can't say he didn't know. And he can't say he couldn't do anything about it, right? So he must ALLOW IT because HE LIKES IT!

The same with starving children and disease. Its entertainment for him. And even though he could change it all, with less effort than we could change the channel on our TV, he refuses to reach for the remote. Instead he'll just reach for a shotgun and blow a hole through the screen. YEE HAW!

This is one sick god we've got here. He loves human suffering so very much that he just couldn't get enough of it in this world. So he had to create a place of ETERNAL TORTURE so he could REALLY get off! And does he send people there who have done horrible things they need to be punished for? No, he forgives all of that. He only sends people who don't believe a story that says that the creator of all things is such a horrible monster that he actually created a place of ETERNAL TORTURE. If you think god is better than that you go to Hell.

Now reading the Bible what does it say Satan's big crime was? His ego. He thought he could do a better job than god. But looking at the world around us how MRE right could he have been? Anybody could do a better job than this raving lunatic of a god. The christian god is just about what you could expect if the Joker from Batman had infinite power.

Death is inevitable. Sorry for your loss. Hope you heal soon. You will actually see her again if you so desire but all that would depend on you and how badly you want it.

One day all these questions you ask would be clear to you and hope would burn like a fire in you. God does not disappoint neither does he hurt.

Death is simply a door to a different house / location but the way we die does not matter. However our destination matters more. I am sure your moms best friend may not be having the regrets you are having now. She may have even forgotten about you because her pains and fears are all gone and she is now so very glad for the same death and cancer you are sad about.

This side of the door isn't always pleasant but the other side is everlastingly pleasant if we want it to be.

Stay strong. Your future is full of great promises. Open up yourself to them and let hurt and your past go. The funny thing is that the past does not need our permission before it becomes the past, it automatically becomes the past on its own. Learn from it and move on to something greater and warmer which God calls you to.

Islamic version of hell of course. Christians have theirs and Muslims have theirs, both mutually exclusive

One requires Jesus while the other doesn't but rates you based on the bad things you do - "bad things" like being against islam

Satan has his ways of manipulating things in the eyes of mankind. You can't apply logic in understanding the existence of God. I will advise you to be a good Muslim. You loose nothing being a Muslim, you will always have it in mind that there is a supreme being watching all of us. Most of what we face in live are test, take for instance, you are preciously a very pious and virtuous person, then God takes your mum, being a good mum, she is in paradise, happy, get all she wants, wish she could communicate with her beautiful daughter, but she can't. Due to the sorrow of loosing her, u condemned God Almighty. We humans can't see beyond what Allah want us to see. He hid a lot of things from us.
As for a prove of the existence of almighty God, God gave us free will, there can't be free will anymore if you are being compelled to do something, due to some miracle or so. you can decide to be a Muslim, worship him, do the best you can, surely you will see signs of his existence. Don't let the sorrow of mums death bring u down. She won't be happy seeing her baby in the wrong place here after, though God in his infinite mercy won't let those in paradise feel any sorrow, even if the persons parents are in hell.

You wish there was a God? Well, there is a GOOD God out there. It’s hard to believe because there’s still evil in the world today; bad things always happen. Why hasn’t God used his superior power to get rid of evil? Perhaps, it’s like cooking a meal; it’s only ready after SOME TIME with the fire and not immediately.
