JOB SUMMARY
As the assistant you would aid the Level II technician with the designated radiographic methods method while gaining experience and knowledge in order to take level to level exams after on the job hour requirements are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Radiographic testing and film interpretation, evaluation of the radiographic method, and overall evaluation of radiographic film to applicable
2. codes and standards acceptance criteria.
3. Set up and calibrate equipment, and interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
4. Adopt an Intertek “marketing and sales” attitude in all client, vendor, employee, and outside contact interactions.
5. Actively pursue continuing technical education courses or seminars.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Preferred Individuals will possess documented 40 hours Radiation Safety classroom training hours.

IRRSP or Radiographer state card is a plus.

This person must also be able to work in confined spaces, heights, and be willing to sail with a vessel.
