DESCRIPTION
Rally Trade is an international online brokerage company providing world-class brokerage services. Our clients can trade and invest in Commodity, Currency and Stock Markets globally. In Nigeria Rally Trade is a leading brokerage company which pioneered superior technology and education for traders and investors.

We are looking to hire a female for the position of Accounting Officer and Personal Assistant to the Director.

Responsibilities
•Prepare all financial reports and statutory accounts.
•Handle accounts payables and receivables.
•Manage petty cash transactions.
•Ensure all payments amounts & records are accurate.
•Reconcile accounts with the general ledger.
•Check invoices for inaccuracies.
•Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
•Create and update expense reports
•Enter financial transactions into internal databases
•Check spreadsheets for accuracy
•Maintain digital and physical financial records
•Collect invoices and raise payment voucher for vendors and external partners, as needed
•Review and file payroll documents
•Participate in quarterly and annual audits
•Answer phone calls and redirect them when necessary
•Manage the daily/weekly/monthly agenda and arrange new meetings and appointments
•Prepare and disseminate correspondence, memos and forms
•File and update contact information for employees, customers, suppliers and external partners
•Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles
•Prepare budget and financial forecasts
•Collect, analyze and summarize account information
•Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc
•Develop periodic reports for management.
•Provides adequate support to the Director of Operations in clerical and routine administrative work
•Composes routine correspondence and memos as per the Chief Executive Officer’s request
•Uses electronic diary systems to plan activities (schedule/coordinate appointments, book rooms and notify attendees)
•Provides assistance to departments/units with administrative activities as and when required
•Establishes appropriate file registration and recording system for incoming/outgoing memos, letters and other forms of correspondence
•Receives and refers calls to the Director’s attention as appropriate as well as handles all other calls
•Composes and types routine correspondences
•Attends to incoming and outgoing mails and files accordingly
•Ensures appropriate management of both electronic and paper filing systems
•Maintains the Director’s calendar, ensures notification of any changes
•Sets up meetings as instructed or as required, notifying all parties
•Takes notes as directed and produce notes accordingly
•Transcribes, proofreads and edits correspondence composed by the Director
•Maintains Director’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, leave days and travel


Job Requirement
•HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
•High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Integrity and professionalism
•Good knowledge of financial regulations, including taxation and government regulatory and reporting requirements
•Good knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting principles, methods, techniques, and standards
•Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
•Knowledge of proofreading
•Understanding of people and conflict management
•Excellent time and meetings management
•Demonstrates expertise in Secretarial services, office management and business correspondence
•Expertise in technical writing and customer service
•Demonstrates expertise in advanced typing
•Excellent Organizational, Administration and Coordination skills
•Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
•Familiarity with finance regulations
•Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
•Excellent knowledge of Accounting Software (e.g. Peachtree, SAGE) required
•Proficiency in MS Office and contemporary data management software
•Good team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
•Not more than 27 years

Salary
N60,000 per month[b](Negotiable)[/b]
