Meet Dr.Femi Akinkugbe who is running for Georgia's 13th Congressional District located in the southern and western portions of the Atlanta metropolitan area which includes the cities of Austell, Jonesboro, Mableton, Douglassville, Stockbridge and Union City as well as southern fourth of Atlanta in the USA.
Born in Washington,DC to a Nigerian parents in the year 1973 before he moved to Nigeria at the age of 5 where he had his elementary and tertiary education at St. Peter's primary school Akure in Ondo state and the University of Ibadan where he studied veterinary medicine before he moved back to the USA in the year 1997.
He enlisted in the United States Army in 1997 where he served as a Combat Medic until 2001,he also attended the officer candidate school where he was commissioned as a 2nd lieutenant and in the year 2012 he was honourably discharged from the United States Army.
Dr. Femi Akinkugbe graduated with a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2016 as he's happily married to his wife Dr.Olubunmi Akinkugbe and blessed with 3 wonderful children.
