We think we have spirituality, but all our defination of xtianity is mere emotional alchemy. Now what is emotional alchemy? Emotional alchemy though with different meanings and definations. But is my own words, i will say it's a state of sober reflection of ones state of existense either past or present were you have failed and excelled. What you are doing and about to do either good or evil, where you are, what you are and what you will be. The truth is that most xtians today practise this they believe that are truly serving God by giving alms, helping the needy, going for church activities and so on, but xtianity is beyond that its beyond all these. We can only practise true xtianity by beleieving in the lord Jesus Christ, and go on that commision he has commanded us all to do in the book of Mark 15:16. Not that lone the most of all is to live a holy life. A life without blemish. Am not trying to preach here but saying that we are in the dark and used to it. And God has opened the eyes of some people to lead us to the light. But its a pity that just few of these people are leading us on that path while the rest are leading us deeper in the dark.
