You are right. They all are the same, they will end up posting them to area nobody would come to know them. They have instruction to collect and deliver. When caught, they will be transferred to another area. If they are punishing them as they seem to act, the SARS would have stopped their action.

I suspect that when you are caught, na dem,dem, they know the kind punishment they will give the person.The only thing I think or suspect is any officer that gets involved in armed robbery is dismissed.

this is the best way to curb many social vices in our society
if we all take it upon ourselves to be reporting anything that is wrong.
we are our own best security officers and as Nigerians start reporting these police officers or corrupt civil servants ,
Nigerians should also take it upon ourselves to be giving information about criminals or anything suspicious within their environment to the police and the appropriate authorities by doing this , the level of security in our society will improve
according to a popular yoruba adage
"eti oba ni ile,eti oba loko , eniyan lo nje be'
the ears of the king in the farm,streets and every where isnt the king himself but it is people who are giving him information

Why won't they be distracted?
The meager salaries federal government pays them are not forthcoming as at when do!
Imagine by now, no serving policeman has received his last month peanut which is so hard to cope considering that most of these junior rank have their children school fees to pay, rents, upkeep and maintenance of their folds even to also buy clean uniform .
Being a Nigeria Police junior rank is the hardest job on this earth!
