Governor Wike of Rivers State has sworn in Chairmen of 23 Local Government Areas of Rivers State.

They are as follows :

1. Abua/Odual. - Opela Daniel.
2. Ahoda East. - Eke Benjamin.
3. Ahoda West. - Ikiriko Hope.
4. Akuku Toru. - Sekibo Rowland.
5. Andoni. - Paul Lawrence Paul.
6. Asari Toru. - Odiari Princewill.
7. Bonny. - David Irimagha.
8. Degema. - Tony Philmoore.
9. Eleme. - Okparaji Phillip.
10. Emohua. - Aliezi Tom.
11. Etche. - Anyanwu Obinna.
12. Gokhana. - Kobani Paul.
13. Ikwerre. - Nwonosike Samuel.
14. Khana. - Lolo Lahteh.
15. Obio/Akpor. - Eke Solomon.
