Actually the soup can serve two purpose, to manage succulent swallow and as pepper soup but the only problem is just the lack of meat, you can just walk down your street and get some lizard killed for better substitute of onions..... Your life will never remain the same aftermath

Why is it that anytime I cook Egwusi soup, the soup will divide itself into two? The egwusi/vegetables/ingredients will go one side and the water will go the other side. Out of frustrations, I have finished the meat and I'm about to get rid of the soup now. I don't know what else to do. I'm frustrated.

We have different types of egusi, the ibo egusi remains the best, always buy the pilled fresh one from the ibo market women they will show you the ibo egusi and take it to hand machine and grind it yourself , then always control the water you use in cooking the meat source.
The yoruba egusi is always watery no matter how you cook it try and avoid buying yoruba egusi expecially those grinded ones tied in nylon

Dodorishi

Meat, bay leaves, plantain & pepper sauce makes up this appetizing dish. It can be served as lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

• Half kilo of assorted meats (beef, goat meats, saki, cowleg, snails, chicken - you can pick and choose what type of meats to add)
• 5 Chili peppers, 6 Balls of tomatoes
• 1 red bell pepper (tatashe)
• 1 green pepper
• 1 yellow pepper
• 2 Onions
• Curry powder
• Condiment stew seasoning powde
• The best maggi cubes
• Thyme
• Bay leaves
• Salt
• Vegetable oil/cooking butter
• 2 - 3 pieces of ripe plantains.

Preparation Method

• Wash your assorted meat, put into a dry pot. Add your bay leaves,a pinch of salt, thyme and maggi cubes. Use separate pots if using chicken and/or snails
• Cover the pot tightly and shake all added ingredients together(that is mixing them thoroughly).
