I just tire for ppl and their talk, if it rains in Benin, even Lagos that is beside the ocean is not dat flooded. Instead of the man to concentrate on infrastructural development he is either in one conference or another or fighting perceived God fathers. I can only deduce one thing from his tenure which is 'TALK IS CHEAP'. A times i wonder if he thinks he is an SUG president wey de do aluta!!!!!!

Oshiomhole has announced that his government is concentrating 70% of the entire budget of Edo state on Benin City, yet there is little development there. I wonder what the rural areas will be like. All he did was to tar ring road which is the centre of Benin City so that everyone passing through will think he was doing anything. The man is just for show.

is this not the same Oshiomhole that used to criticize government and spread all sorts of stories of how easy it is to make Nigerians live very fruitful lives in a developed environment. I guess he couldn't beat them, so he joined.

TALK IS CHEAP my broda U can begin to imagine if this man was still same former NLC presidents that criticise public officers as if he can build rome in a day.I can assure u if he fails to deliver on the chance God has given him, PDP will claim back Edo state.


This brings me to Nairaland. This is how we have people that can analyse, criticize everything Govt. does both good and bad as if they can deliver a small mandate like managing a 40 member youth club successfully. Most Nigerians only critisize when things dont favor them not because of the love for their country.

ds is unfair to Adams. he has really done well wt d roads in Benin. d portion in d pix is Uselu-Ugbowo-Lagos rd wc is a FG road. as we speak, its under re-construction by RCC. if u take a closer look at d pix, u will see dt d reinforced concrete median is a fresh casting, they r less dn a month old and work is actively on-going. but dt doesnt mean dt benin is Paris, but anyone who knws d level of decay in Benin before Adam's era will agree dt he has changed Benin much.

Oshiomole is doing very very well.
He has actually transformed Edo state. People who reside in Edo state can attest to that.

This road is stil very much under construction and the completed parts of the road is actually quite beautiful... Oshobaba has done some, there is alot more to be done. before Osho's 100 days in office for his first tenure, he proposed what he called [size=16pt]integrated drainage system[/size], where he brought expartriates to draw a flood control master plan. My question is, WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PLAN? was the plan completed? will it be executed after Osho's second tenure or is work going-on on the plan? Am from Edo i pay frequent visits home. Of a truth Oshiomole's achievements are over-hyped. but on the general, he has done well

The problem with people like Oshiomole is that, while he has done a few things right, his talk makes his work look really bad. Mission road is in a big mess. Cars can not even ply the part of the road towards ring road. Murtala Mohammed way was terrible when I passed recently. So is second east circular and first east circular roads. Most inner roads around the heart of Benin are in comatose. Lucky way is almost divided in two. He has literally stopped many projects he started and he now has over 300 special assistants in his government. That is the most number of SAs I have ever heard of any governor in Nigeria. This his second term has been a real let down and people are only overlooking it because he did well in his first term. But that sympathy is waning fast. He needs to sit up
