I am currently in transit with my family from Abuja to the east for a family function in our private Sienna bus. We encountered a road block by local govt officials at Ejule, Idah in Kogi State. We were asked to pay N38,500 for "emblem" which is meant for road transporters. All pleas that this was a private vehicle fell on deaf ears. They insisted that it was meant for all buses. After going to the police station, we discovered they were all in on it as they didn't budge. We had to part with our hard-earned money. What concerns private vehicles with mobile advert revenue, loading/offloading, sticker etc. We spent 2 hours there. May God judge all of them.
