Is it good for someone to kiss on a first date even without  knowing the person deeply?

A "decent" girl wouldn't do that especially when its someone you're not so familiar with (you wouldn't want to appear cheap, would you now?)
Your principles have to be reserved (you wouldn't want him to think you have none)

Now believe me it would be tempting, at least if you find him attractive, mind-blowing, intersting and charming but

At the end of the day you might want to place a mind-blowing kiss on his cheek, give him an eye-wink but the kiss should be reserved for another day
(the kiss on the cheek, (a peck i'll call) shows your interests in continuing with the already started ride but at the same time preserves your woman-dignity, your limitations and make him want you more)

most guys are put off by a lady just serving everything on a silver plate now we don't want that to happen, do we?

That doesn't mean no couple kiss on the first date, or that some of those dates haven't led to the most wonderful relationships, No. It just means we're all different, think differently, have different principles and resolutions

No matter which way you decide about it, there's no gurantee it would be the right one. That's when i like to say the end justifies the means

Now the "no-kiss-on-the-first-day" theory is my own personal principle, you have to make your based on where you drww the line and hoow you like to make you own bed

Personally, i think a peck will do on a first date, 'stead of a kiss. Though, some feel its okay, it just depends on our person. But believe me, i'll 'nut' you in less than a week if you give me a kiss or vice versa on the first date!
