Controversial son of the General Overseer Worldwide of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Leke Adeboye, has opened up on his love for Afro Beat Legend, Fela's music.

He made this revelation at a recent media parley organised by the management of the One Halleluyah Records (OHR), Tribune reports.

“Pastor Kunle Ajayi is my music mentor and we have been to different places to research on music. I won’t lie, I listen to Fela’s music a lot and by my assessment, his works are one of the greatest compositions you ever find in the world. You cannot get bored with his works. So, Nigeria has produced great musicians with good music and I am hoping we leverage on this fact

“Music is very important and it is beyond what is being pumped out to the society. It is beyond entertainment because it connects to the mind and has effect. This is why we are committed to support the gospel music industry, especially young talents from RCCG.

“Personally, I love rap music to a fault and I am happy we have a rap artiste under the label. I pray God will help us in achieving our dreams by supporting talents in producing works that will affect lives positively and win souls for the kingdom,” he stated.

Ajayi also acknowledged the commitment of Leke in floating of the label, as a platform for talents that will connect the world to God through inspirational music.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Label, Mr Lanre Oyegbola, however, hinted that the management and artiste were set to take the industry by storm, just as he noted that OHR was planning a tour of four cities and campuses under a programme tagged: Unbox Tour.

Are you a politician or know anyone running for an elective position, one who cares about the youths and their well being in his State/ Constituency? Are you an NGO, an individual or business organisation who would want to make an impression on the youths by way of your CSR while also having an opportunity to create an image for yourself, business and organisation as one who refused to watch and not take action while the youths are wasting away. You have an opportunity to order for customised copies of my book in my signature. I am offering you a chance to put a picture of you or your organisation with the words" copy sponsored and supported by you/organisation" for distribution as you desire.
There is no better way to get your campaign statement or vision out there than through this book. There is no smarter way to advertise your business than this opportunity.

There’s something I have come to understand and is that not everyone who is religious is a fraud. Yes I largely agree that it’s all fancy theatrics especially the Pentecostal exorcism but to some people it’s so real that even when their conscience is telling em not to get involved they just can’t stop practicing cos it’s the only thing they believe.
Thou the practice is comical and can be largely seen as fraud by critical and free thinkers, many who practice it see it as real, so real that they stake their lives on it.

Fela’s music is prophetic...

Everything he had said about Nigeria for the past 40years had happened and are still happening.

No pastor, prophet, Evangelist, Reverend, Bishop or Other clergy man can brainwash me about life.

As a practicing Christian, I can't listen to Fela. The message his songs are passing across - exposing crooked politicians and how the citizens ought to resist them - is good. But the conduit is polluted; I can't imagine watching a video of his song and seeing him being swarm by innumerable ladies while he smokes weed to the praise of Satan. No. No. No.
ollah2:

But you can watch davido and wizkid abi?
I don't listen to any of those singers. They're not different from Fela.

There is no church that doesn't use the name of JESUS CHRIST and we still see humanbeigns, especially so called born agains condemning the churches where Jesus Christ name is also used and so called miracles happen in those places and this justifies why we keep using REAL JESUSCHRIST and people who are blind spiritually don't understand our unbelievable truth and revelation and we ask you wise humanbeigns, who is fooling who and where are the good church even as they proclaim go to a Bible believing church and they forget that in the same Bible people killed people and people lied and cheated people and those under reference also use the same Bible you justify their atrocities ,so why don't you think and ask questions spiritually where we told you that there is no pretenses and everyone is naked there and how many people have the light as Jesus Christ gives to truly see the things of hidden ?hence the light I am the light of the world that Jesus Christ declared and gives is not for everyone to have and very many people who claim to know Jesus Christ don't have that Light at all. John 6,60-68
